Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. In his first television appearances Evans was a part of parts such as Opposite and sex during 2000. He gained recognition for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans has also been featured in film versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). The film gained him more recognition due to his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the highest paid actors around the globe because of his work for the Marvel series.
